Removal of a load bearing wall between the dining room and kitchen allowed for an eat-in peninsula that is a favorite gathering spot for the family. This is a kitchen custom made for a client that enjoys the arts! The backsplash highlights tiles that are hand painted by our client. The desk area was designed with their son in mind so that he can let his creative juices flow and use the nearby art supplies to draw and paint. Natural light streams in from both directions and fills the area with sunshine.
