The custom made shower is designed to address two items on our client's wish list. We built them a marble shower seat and used the space underneath as a
magazine rack. The marble tile is a metamorphic limestone and has fossils imbedded in it. The marble begins as a sedimentary stone consisting of seashells and the bones of sea creatures that have settled to the ocean floor. High heat and pressure cause the fossilized materials, along with its original carbonate minerals, to crystallize and transform limestone into
marble. This gives the marble a real organic feel with tremendous visual interest. This is a shower that could make you late to work!
