How do
you hide a laundry room in the formal powder room of a house? Design
team members came up with a space solution to hide the utility part
of the room with custom-made cherry door panels. The panels
incorporate frosted rice paper glazing to allow light to filter in
from the outside. Our clients selected a hand crafted vessel sink as
the focal point for their bath. The copper tone found in the sink
was selected as the color for the walls and the glazed effect brings
the bathroom to life. The live copper finish on the wall-mounted
faucet marries the walls and bowl with a union of aesthetics and
function. The asymmetric mirror above the console is an unexpected
contemporary element that puts the crowning touch on the space.
Color, art, a masterful camouflage and a Zen-like influence make
this
bathroom a winning transformation.
