Dan Shaw

Lead Carpenter

Dan’s work experience combines to create a strong set of skills that make him an outstanding Lead Carpenter. He was a project coordinator for a technology company, which gives him a planning mentality and ability to think issues through. He also was an apprentice furniture maker and worked for a high-end remodeler, giving him excellent carpentry skills.

Dan is personable, levelheaded and puts everyone at ease when he is on the job. He loves his work and respects both clients’ ideas and living spaces. Dan feels that having an open line of communication and looking out for the interests of the client result in a positive experience for everyone involved.

He spends many hours building furniture and, although he considers selling them, finds himself much too attached to his creations by the time they are completed. Dan is an avid cyclist and rides both mountain and road bikes. With his mechanical skills and ability to work with his hands, it isn’t surprising that he has also been a bicycle mechanic.
